第20回アジア競技大会(2026/愛知・名古屋)が2026年9/19(土)〜10/4(日)に愛知・名古屋で開催されます。

女子ソフトボール競技は、9/26(土)〜10/3(土)に安城市で開催されます。

🇯🇵 日本女子ソフトボールと
アジア競技大会

女子ソフトボール競技は第11回アジア競技大会（1990年・北京大会）から参加しています。
日本は第11回大会、第12回大会、第13回大会は、準優勝。いずれも中国に敗れています。

第14回大会(2002年・釜山大会）で初優勝し、そこから第19回大会まで6連覇を達成しました。今大会優勝すれば7連覇になるので注目も高まっています。

女子ソフトボール日本代表メンバーはまだ決まっていません。1月から2月の国内外合宿後に、7月のW杯グループステージ（ペルー・リマ）、アジア競技大会（愛知・安城）のメンバーが発表されると思います。発表日は未定です。

Japan Women’s Softball and the Asian Games

Women’s softball was first included in the Asian Games at the 11th Asian Games in Beijing in 1990.
The Japan women’s national softball team finished runner-up in the 11th, 12th, and 13th Asian Games, losing to China on each occasion.
Japan claimed its first Asian Games gold medal at the 14th Asian Games in Busan in 2002, and went on to win six consecutive titles through the 19th Asian Games.
If Japan wins the upcoming tournament, it would mark seven consecutive Asian Games titles, which is drawing significant attention.
The roster for the Japan women's national softball team has not yet been announced.
Following domestic and overseas training camps from January to February, the squad for both the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Group Stage in Lima, Peru, and the Asian Games in Anjo, Aichi, is expected to be announced.
The official announcement date has not yet been determined.
